We had family stay here over Christmas as we stayed at the sandy beach house down the road. They loved every minute of it, watching the calming waves and otters in the morning. The house is such a lovely nod to the nautical/boat lifestyle. All the amenities you need!

Our week at the Titus Pt house over July 4th was relaxing & enjoyable with the superb ocean view, but the odor in the master bathroom along with noise of raccoons chewing on the pipes under the patio took away some the joy of the house. Breen Vacation Rentals knew of the problems several weeks before we arrived, but they did nothing during our seven days to remedy the smell or noise of this situation. Furthermore, the bathroom windows will not open to provide air circulation.

The kitchen is well supplied with dishes and the rest of the house was comfortable. One of the blinds over the north window in the family/dining room will not work. It is tied up with a cord allowing the sun to shine in our eyes during dinner. The old, yellow shag carpet is stained in spots, but is somewhat adequate. The house has great potential, with little cost to the owner, to continue to provide the comfort and beautiful sunsets for renters during future years. But with the nightly rental increase, some repairs and maintenance are needed to maintain this special vacation rental.

Once again, my friends and I had a fantastic time staying at Titus Point. It was my fourth and their third time there. This time the carpets and the windows had been freshly cleaned and it enhanced our stay.
I wish I could go more often to my home-away-from-home, as I like to think of it, but twice a year is what we all can manage. Until next time...

The amount of rust in the house, the lack of cleaning for dust behind beds, sofas etc. made our stay less comfortable. There were safety concerns like loose nails at the entrance, inoperable door, rust in cooking pans and bathroom vanity unit. House keeping didn't leave kitchen sponge. When informed of these issues to Breen Vacation no accommodation was given. We were told you get what you pay for and you should stay in a more expensive home. very disappointed, won't be staying with them again.

The location is our favorite of the many we have experienced. The house is a little rustic and could use some sprucing up but overall everything was operational. Wish it was rated for 5 instead of 4 guest.

We've stayed at this house several times so we knew what we were getting. It is an older home located on the best site in Cambria. I can ignore the retro tile and carpet because of the location and the fact that they keep it so clean. Some of the outdoor furniture has seen better times but we brought our own chairs so no worries for us. We had a glorious stay. Unfortunately the management company was hard to get in touch with once we checked in and that was frustrating, but that view!!! Awesome.

This home is a little bit of a step back in time, but it is clean, the main bed (the only one we used) totally comfortable, & the views spectacular!!

We used the kitchen several times & everything we needed was there. My husband's only gripe was that the TV was kind of small & he had to monkey around with it to get it working. I wasn't there for the TV, so it didn't bother me at all :)

My home away from home. I wish I could persuade my husband to go more frequently. He likes to go different places. When I find an ice cream flavor I love, I have it every time!

Fabulous ocean front rental, very private and peaceful. Panoramic views of the Pacific coast. Loved the sound of the ocean waves crashing. Cambria is also blessed with many wonderful restaurants and wine tasting venues.Also enjoyed watching seal and birds just feet away from the house. cannot wait to go back!

My parents have stayed here multiple times and I know how much they've enjoyed it. So when my wife and I were booked for our anniversary, the anticipation was palpable. When we pulled up, were were already met with incredible views before we even left the car! The large open field directly next door gave us a hint of things to come. My wife entered the house first via the large windowed double doors. We steyp in, turned to the left and...WOW! Instantly, we become aware of the property's value. The view. Walking further inside, the scale of this magic view became evident as we entered the living room. A true 180° view greeted us-- waves dancing and singing a welcome song to us. After a joyful kiss, I went to unload the car. It never gets old, that view as I walked back and forth with our bags. Then the sunset... That deserves its own book. The utterly open view and large deck with which to gaze from are a perfect combination! This house, with it's touch of 80's charm was cozy to sleep in, and delightful to wake up from. Stay and stare out into the ocean from the living room or back patio, or go for a walk and enjoy the view equally from there. Sip on the complimentary bottle of wine, and don't forget to stop by Cookie Crock Market for some famous Cambria Sausage, made right there and only there in the deli. While we wished the jacuzzi tub was functional because it's HUGE and even with my 6ft6in frame, we both would have fit nicely-- Understand conserving water....but it sure would be nice! We love this place and will come again, guaranteed!

This was one of the best family trips we’ve ever taken. The house was a gem! We couldn’t get enough of staring out at the ocean from that huge window. We watched a mommy otter with her pup and saw seals too. Beautiful!! We loved that we could walk everywhere. We walked to Moonstone Beach,to Main Street Cambria, and to Fiscalini Ranch. We will definitely be returning.

As other reviewers have stated the location and view is unbelievable. The wall of windows makes you feel like you are sitting directly on the rocks. Waking up, drinking a cup of coffee and watching the Sea Otters was a wonderful way to start the day. We had such a great time we booked another stay!!

This was our fourth stay at this property. You just can’t beat the view, and location. It’s an easy walk to Moonstone Beach, the Ranch, or town. The house needs some attention; carpet should be removed, but that is my only con. We loved watching the otters right out front, and the sunsets each night. There are plenty of blankets and throws in case you want to bundle up and sit outside.

This was our 3rd time staying at Titus Point. And it won’t be the last!
The back of the house is all windows, providing an amazing view of the ocean.
We saw rainbows, dolphins, sea otters and birds...without leaving the living room.
The house is clean and roomy. The beds are comfortable and you fall asleep to the sound of the crashing surf. A nearby nature preserve provides a great walk.
We’ve stayed during both rainy weather and warm, sunshiney weather and enjoyed it very much. Cambria has lots of friendly people, nice shops and good restaurants, but I’m always ready to return to the house to watch the ocean!

We were uncomfortable because heater didn’t work well and ways heater didn’t work as well. It was very run down. I don’t think the location hadn’t been updated in 4o years. We left a day early because of our discomfort. Was not given a portion of our money returned. The view is beautiful.

It's all about the view for this one - you can see the ocean from the living room, bedroom, and master bathroom and it's lovely. Some features of the house are a bit dated (the somewhat stained and outdated carpeting and the jacuzzi tub in the master bath that doesn't work) but it all fades away in the crash of the pacific ocean right outside the windows. It was particularly spectacular to watch the moon rise while in bed.

As described in the profile, the house is older but well cared for. ALL is forgiven when you see the view! It has pretty much everything you need and was SUPER clean when we arrived. I love to cook and the kitchen is pretty well equipped and Breen co. Is happy to fill you in on anything you might want to know. There is retro shag carpet throughout, but in the world of all hardwood and tile, it was actually comfy! And the price point for this view is fantastic. Is it luxurious? No, but it is perfect for a beach getaway and energy boost and they are working to make it even better. Be sure to walk outside at night to see the spectacular night sky!

The big selling point to this property is the location. You could literally throw a tennis ball into the ocean. THAT'S how close you are. The property, although a bit dated on the inside, is extra large in terms of square footage and boasts three bathrooms. The 2nd biggest attribute is privacy. There is no neighbor on one side of the property. In fact...We never saw anyone on the other side at all. It has a killer deck and the living room boasts huge full windows. When you are inside, it almost looks like you are on a boat because all you see is the sea...!

180 degree view of the most scenic coastline anywhere around. The large windows on the ocean side of the house draw you in and allow for a lot of natural light. The interior was clean, but very dated and not up to par for a property with this type of view. The paint is also peeling on the master bedroom ceiling and other places around the house. The huge master tub looks like it was installed in the 70s and does not work. The bathroom mirrors also have large black marks on them since they are so old. I'm sure that is why this home is so affordable based on the location. If you can get over the rough interior, you'll be mesmerized by the view.

Although this home is older and has not been remodeled the location and view is amazing! Large family gathering area with the best views of the ocean. Patio lounge chairs to relax and read. The kitchen is quite large as well. We definately enjoyed our trip and stay....wish there was a bigger TV in living room and the water pressure in shower is weak but it is a beautiful relaxing place.

We enjoyed the ocean views all around the house. I didn’t notice when we booked the house that the soaker tub was not working. The master smelled like cat. Door locks, light switches, etc, are old and some don’t work. We couldn’t get the DVD player to work. Staff was very nice and helpful.

There is just nothing better than the wide open view of the sea that you get from this property! Mesmerizing and ever-changing, which is why we come to this house often. While it's showing its age, it's clean and comfortable and always puts me in mind of a beloved family retreat that the owners just want to keep the same. We've stayed at this house before under a different management company and I do like the improvements (new bedding, no more carpet in the bathrooms, a functioning shower in the main bath) that have been made under Breen. It would be nice to see the outside of the property get some attention as well, particularly the gates.

We had the best time even though I had a nasty cold. Loved the view from the house and the deck.
The WiFi, and TV, were not working, and the management was very helpful in getting that fixed.
The house needs a bit of updating, but that wouldn’t stop us from going back.
It was so quiet. All we heard were birds, and the ocean.
Oh, it was so nice to see the otters out front.

We had a very nice stay over Thanksgiving week. We come every year and are very familiar with the area. Since it rained almost every day-(which was a good thing for CA) it was great to have such a wonderful location right on the water. The changing ocean was delightful to watch.
The house had everything we needed. Our hope is that the owners will do more to maintain the home and update it a bit. It's a gem of a location.

View is dramatic and the house is very comfortable, but dated. I stayed in this house 25 years ago and very little has been upgraded. If you want a great view, privacy and a comfortable house this is it!

This was a first time Sister's Weekend and in celebration of a 60th Birthday. The check-in and check-out process was very easy at Breen Vacation Station/Realty, just go and pick up your keys and drop them back off or drop them through the drop slot. All rental processes and procedures are handled ahead of time.

The Titus Point property itself is oceanfront, in a great neighborhood and therefore, wonderful location. The furniture, amenities and layout of the home are nice. However, "classic" does not quite describe it's current condition, as it is dated and in need of some TLC, cosmetic updating and general maintenance. It would not take much to bring it back to it's true stature and still maintain it's rustic, classic loveliness. The cleanliness was also an issue upon check-in, as there are locations on the old, shag carpeting, that a vacuum cleaner could not reach and old debris was left, instead of being cleaned in other ways. The shag carpeting is also in two of the three bathrooms.


The outside perimeter gates are barely operable due to rusted hinges and screech in protest every time you pass through. We shared our concerns and pictures with the staff of Breen's and they were acknowledged and addressed. This property is a slow, update in process project. Hopefully, the cleanliness issues can be addressed much more quickly.

Overall, our stay was good here, because of the location and and it being an oceanfront property. However, we would not rent this property again, unless improvements and deferred maintenance issues were done.

It is a great house, has great "bones" and it could be truly a Cambria Classic home.

This Cambria original ocean front property has amazing views extending from the Fiscallini Ranch to Piedras Blancas lighthouse. It provides opportunities to spot sea otters, dolphins and the occasional humpback whale. Relaxing on the large deck watching the beautiful sunsets Is one of our favorite activities. Recent improvements have added to the enjoyment of the home. However, there is limited Wifi access which can be problematic.
