Best Ocean Views - #LH34

The house is nice and the views are incredible. We very much enjoyed our stay although we had two issues. One was that the BBQ had no propane and the second was that the fire alarm in the master bedroom went off twice (there was no fire) including at 2am! These are issues that could easily been prevented through proper maintenance.

I think this is our 5th time in this home. It is perfect for us. We love the view, the location, and the furnishings. We have recommended it to others, and they agree with us. It is special.

Place was nice enough but there were a few problems. 1. No sugar for my guests coffee. 2. No master bath, both bedrooms share and other bath is upstairs. 3. Both bedrooms had French sliding doors with no shades or curtains. Hence, lots of light even in night, it was a full moon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental. The views are amazing and the home accommodating.
There were a few issues primarily related to cleaning & maintenance.. The living room rug was not vacuumed thoroughly as there was a wad of gum & debris under the coffee table. The upstairs bathroom sink was clogged & drained slowly.. There was no glass cleaner available to clean glass surfaces, I.e. glass dining table...One bathroom ran out of TP and we could not find any in the home. Also Property Management was difficult to contact. They need to answer their phone on a more consistent basis rather than leaving voice mails.
Other than these minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay! In fact, this was one of our favorite rental homes in the Cambria area. We will Definitely rent again.

Our week was lovely...this home is a favorite for us. With all of the updates it seems close to a perfect rental. We greatly appreciated the updated kitchen. The new stove/ microwave are beautiful and very effectent. The appointments, dishes,glasses, utensils etc. are perfect. The addition of the new window coverings in living room and master bedroom are by far the very best improvement. This continues to be our favorite rental in Cambria. Our only suggestion is to continue with the window coverings in the guest room...one feels rather exposed with no shades. If the weather had been less gloomy we could have enjoyed the porch and bbq. Thank you again...

We enjoyed our stay at Best Ocean Views, which is aptly named. Loved hiking at Fiscalini Ranch, cooking meals together, watching the sunrise and sunset from the deck and exercising our energetic pup at the local dog park. Small but significant improvement would be the addition of blinds in the smaller bedroom. Early sunrise and a full moon made for a bright bedroom in the wee hours.

Fantastic house for a get-a-way!! Plenty of space, well equipped kitchen and what a view! If you enjoy going to sleep with the sound of the waves and seals in the background you'll love this place. Especially liked the wild turkeys and deer roaming the area.

On this visit, there were new window coverings, new stove and microwave and little updates everywhere. Very comfortable home, well-stocked for cooking and for comfort. Can't wait to return. also, you should let people know there is a tenant that is living downstairs.

This home is located in a beautiful part of Cambria. You get the best of the pines and the ocean. WiFi did not work, but I understand the WiFi equipment was upgraded after we left. Breen was very responsive in trying to get the WiFi working. The owner was very generous and compensated us for the loss of WiFi. My friends and I found this home comfortable and cozy. We would stay again.

The best ocean view is correct. Every night on the deck with the sunset. We were there 2 weeks and we spent so much time on the deck with meals, reading and just relaxing. The house was very comfortable and had all we needed. I especially liked all the books! The last morning at sunrise before we left as we watched the sunrise over the ocean in the east, we were given an extra treat of seeing the most gorgeous full moon setting over the ocean in the west Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay. This property has the best view of any property we have stayed at in Cambria. Location was perfect, close to the beach and trails but still a bit in the pines to give the forest feeling. The only Negative thing is that there is one bath downstairs and one up and both bedrooms are downstairs. But the extra loft was a plus

We had a wonderful stay over the Thanksgiving week. The house had an incredible view and the living area, kitchen, dining, and living room was very well laid out for 4 people. Both bedrooms were downstairs but were very open with the same incredible view. We were blessed with perfect weather and left windows open at night and listen to the ocean and seals.

The property was very nice with beautiful views. We had a wonderful time and our only regret was not staying longer. The property manager recommended attending the Cambria Christmas Market and it was a great idea. I would stay here again next time I am in town.

This very comfortable home is in a great location, with unbelievable views of the sea below. This was our second stay. Even on rainy days, the views from the home and the cozy living room fireplace made staying at home just fine. The property manager was very helpful and the property is well maintained and very clean. It's a great base for exploring the Paso Robles vineyards, the Morro Bay harbor, the unspoiled Central Coast, and the Big Sur coastline up north.

Best Ocean Views was recommended to me by a friend and with that I decided to rent for the month of November. With family in both southern and northern California it made the perfect meeting place for our Thanksgiving holiday. The property was clean, recently updated and the kitchen well equipped for preparing our feast. The only thing lacking was a good carving knife for our turkey. Bring your own if you have something that ambitious in mind to carve! We had a few requests of management and a maintenance issue during our stay. All were promptly taken care of so thank you Breen for the good service.

Delightful, quiet and beautiful house with spectacular views! Fiscalani boardwalk along the ocean had up close seals and cormorants to see. Cambria is peaceful and has great restaurants as well. Go to see the Elephant seals!

This was our 2nd stay at Best Ocean Views LH34. We love this rental. Pictures do not do it justice as there are ocean view from every room. Can hear sea lions from balcony. Very open floor plan. Comfortable and clean. Breen very easy to work with.

The home is located on a quiet street and has all the amenities you would need. The kitchen is very well stocked and the bathrooms are new and beautiful. It's probably good to be aware that both bedrooms are on the lower floor and share a bathroom. The only thing that was "disappointing" was the sleeper sofa in the loft. It looks like it's been there too long and could use a replacement. My son needed to sleep in it and wasn't too happy about it, but enjoyed the home. If we stay there again, I would pack one of those blow-up air mattresses; it would be more comfortable. All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

We lived for three extraordinary weeks in this wonderful home perched above the sea in its Cambrian abundance. The wraparound ocean views, smells and sounds were spectacular. The smaller and larger bedrooms have equally beautiful views and access to a lower level deck. Each morning was a renewal of the senses of life and the motion of the sea that the deck "contained" -- not as a separation from all that was around us, but as a convenient space to plant our feet and coffee cups. Passing whales could not fly, but they did try. Sounds of sea birds, calls of seals, and pulsing waves made the deck more of an event than a place. Breen Vacation folks were very helpful. We're thankful for getting to share this place, and we'd very much like to return.

My family and I spent four nights here during Thanksgiving. The weather was perfect. The street is quiet and peaceful. With Camp Ocean Pines and the Rancho Marino Reserve as neighbors, there is plenty of peace, quiet and wildlife. The house itself is beautifully designed. The artwork and interior is very soothing. The location ideal.

We loved our stay in the Best Ocean Views house in Cambria. We stayed, (2 adults and teenage daughter) for 4th of July week with our 2 shih tzu doggies and had a great time. The house is 3 levels, with 2 bedrooms, laundry and 1 bath on bottom floor, living room, 1 bath and kitchen on main floor and loft upstairs which had a sofa & chair, larger TV and desk. Beds were very comfortable (master was very large!), and everything was clean and well stocked with extra linens, pillows and towels. The pictures on website were taken strangely from an angle that doesn't reveal that the bedrooms have gorgeous ocean views. But there are stunning views from every angle of the home. Even though we were on the hill, we could hear the sea lions off shore and the surf as well. At night it was very quiet and he neighborhood was peaceful. On our nightly walks, we counted 30 deer sightings. The east & west villages in Cambria were less than a 10 minute drive, and Hearst Castle was 15 minutes. All in all our stay was wonderful and we never ran out of restaurants to enjoy in town or to pick up take out from, (Linn's and Main Street Grill were our favorites). Refrigerator came stocked with some condiments left behind by previous guests, (ketchup, mustard, salad dressings...) and there were plenty of spices for cooking too. My only suggestion/concern is the instructions for operating the tvs were very out of date/incorrect and it took awhile to sort out which HDMI was the correct input, and how to use the 2 remotes in tandem. We were contacted by Breen around noon our 1st day stating we could check in early, but unfortuantley couldn't take advantage with all the northbound LA traffic slowing our journey until well past Santa Barbara. Nice that they let us know though. Thanks!

We love Cambria. It is a quiet, quaint, and friendly town. The home we stayed in is beautiful, comfortable and the 180 degree panoramic view of the ocean is clearly viewed inside of the home, due to the floor to ceiling windows. We used the fireplace every day. The master bedroom also has windows stretching across the entire view wall. Perched up on a hill about a mile from the water, you will feel like you are in a treehouse. We left the windows open at night and slept to the sound of surf. We hiked daily on the bluff trails overlooking the ocean at the Fiscalini Preserve, about a mile from the home and with ample parking if you'd rather drive. We highly recommend this home and location if you are looking for a vacation of peace and quiet.
